Just-in-Time Teaching (JiTT) is a teaching and learning strategy comprised of two elements: classroom activities that promote active learning, and World Wide Web resources used to enhance the classroom component. Students respond electronically to carefully constructed web-based assignments which are due shortly before class, and the instructor reads the student submissions ``just-in-time" to adjust the classroom lesson to suit the students' needs. JITT helps students come to class prepared, engaged, and motivated. In this talk, we will include examples, address implementation issues, and provide access to further information and resources.
