During the New Horizons Jupiter flyby in January-March 2007, data of Jupiter's atmosphere were acquired by multiple visible and near-IR instruments. In particular, Ralph and LORRI were able to detect mesoscale waves over a large longitude range at the equator. Wavelengths were found to be consistent with those found in Voyager, and to a lesser extent Galileo, images. For the first time, however, wave velocities have also been determined. In addition, the zonal wind profile was measured from both Hubble and New Horizons images, and can be compared with previous epochs. This presentation summarizes our findings on the dynamical state of Jupiter's atmosphere during the New Horizons flyby.
