New JHK photometry is presented for 69 galactic classical Cepheids. Full phase coverage observations for 23 of these stars is used to determine the relationship between UBV and JHK amplitudes. A procedure for recovering mean magnitudes from single-phase observations of known Cepheids is outlined. These relationships are necessary for the determination of the infrared period-luminosity relations.
