Scientific paper
The authors review the current observational status of jets in powerful extragalactic radio sources and discuss the properties of some prototype energetic objects. Part II gives the details about the features related to jets, the irregularities in cosmic jets including wiggly jets and distorted jets. High resolution imaging of jets with high resolution telescopes, in particular, the case for VLBI at higher frequencies and high angular resolution are discussed. At the end of Part II they highlight the immense benefit of combined-array imaging of radio sources.
