J-squared supersynthesis is a technique of sequential synthesis of the radiation pattern of a two-dimensional (circular) aperture, in which the processing of the interferometer response is carried out in a manner similar to the way one processes the field in an annular antenna during J-squared synthesis of a circular aperture. The present paper gives an algorithm for J-squared supersynthesis and derives an expression for the radiation pattern of the synthesized aperture.
