The IUE spectra of the three A0 V stars with the highest rotational velocity reported in the literature are analyzed. Superionization lines are surely present only in the spectrum of HD 119921 (Z Cen) and they are found to be variable. Using a visible spectrum, a new value of the rotational velocity of 220 km/sec is given for Z Cen; it is considerably far from its break-up velocity. No clear evidence of superionization is found in the other two stars.
