Proposed double shift observations of Uranus and Neptune with the large aperture of the SWP will be made to attempt verification of a molecular H2 aurora on Uranus (tentatively found by us with small aperture data after others discovered the H aurora at Ly-alpha) and to search for an H2 aurora on Neptune. The same data will also be used to improve existing signal to noise longward of 1650 A, in the region of reflected sunlight, to verify previous indications of differing amounts of absorption between the two planets, and to further investigate the possibility of secular change in the albedo of Uranus.
