New isotopic data allow substantial refinement in the evolution model of SNC meteorites. An examination of the Rb-Sr, Mn-Nd, and U-Pb isotope systematics indicates that only two differentiation processes have dominated the evolution of the SNC meteorites: a first (and primary) one at 4.5 Ga ago, and a second between 150 and 1.4 Ga ago, which created the final chemical amd mineralogical composition of the SNC meteorites as they are today.
