Utilising the photo-polarimeter ISOPHOT on board the Infrared Space Observatory (ISO) we have searched for polarisation at 25 μm toward three well known Young Stellar Objects (YSOs). Detections were made toward two sources, NGC 7538 IRS9 and HH 100 IR, whilst L1551 IRS5 was only marginally detected. We compare the polarisation angles with disk and outflow axes, and find evidence for a magnetic field component parallel to the disk major axis. We also observed L1551 IRS5 with the C200 camera at 160 μm and find tantalising evidence for an hourglass shaped magnetic field configuration associated with this source. However, the instrumental polarisation and uncertainties must be further constrained before a definite detection can be claimed.
