IRAS CPC observations of a region measuring 25×25 arcmin2 in the NGC 1333 molecular cloud have revealed nine distinct far-infrared sources, many of which have not previously been reported, with luminosities ranging from 3 to 161 L_sun;. Some are known to be associated with very young, pre-main-sequence stars and are important in understanding the production mechanisms of the Herbig-Haro objects found in their vicinity.
