The interaction process of the solar wind with cometary atmosphere is studied based on the plasma observation by Suisei. In the solar wind just upstream of the cometary bow shock, the thermal pressure of the cometary ions becomes comparable with that of the solar wind protons, so that the cometary ions can modify the shock condition significantly. Within the cometosheath, the temperature of solar wind protons decreased toward the closest approach. This temperature decrease is likely caused by the cooling effect accompanying with the change exchange process with the cometary neutral molecules.
