A preliminary study of decametric arc spacing in Io phase at fixed longitude indicates that the A and B Io-modulated emissions consist of a series of bursts of emission corresponding to the pattern of Alfven wings generated by Io. Comparison of the viewing geometry of the A and B sources reveals that the axis of the beaming cone is tilted about 90 deg from the meridional plane. The projection of the cone opening angle in the ecliptic is estimated to be about 66 deg which implies a full cone angle of about 70-72 deg. The A-source emission pattern lasts for at least 70 deg of Io phase which suggests that less than 20 percent of the Alfven wave energy is dissipated per bounce.
