A set of electrophotometrical observations of 8 UV Ceti-type stars has been carried out with the 6-meter telescope of SAO USSR AS during the period from 1982 to 1985. The purpose of this work was to study the fine time structure of flares of these objects. 118 flares have been registered during 35 hours of patrol observations. The majority of them were observed on the stars CN Leo, Wolf 424, V577 Mon, and UV Cet. A statistical analysis of the obtained information is given and favours the assumption of the thermal nature of optical flares in red dwarfs.
