The paper investigates the possibility of creating an artificial comet in near-earth interplanetary space by synthesizing a cloud of micronuclei made up of components of different volatilities. The artificial comet is to be composed of the same materials as natural comets, such as acetonitrile, formaldehyde and amino acids, and is to be a microdisperse system, each component of which - in vacuum under the action of radiation - goes through the stages of liquid drop, frozen drop (micronucleus), porous structure (dust particle) and disintegration. The luminosity of the gaseous and dust components of the atmosphere of an artificial comet is computed, taking account of the effects of solar radiation.
