Different methods were used to study the olivine fraction of H-group chondrites, and results are compared with data on olivines of carbonaceous chondrites. Olivines of these chondrites were divided into three groups: (1) with low-iron content, (2) with wide variations in fayalite content, and (3) with narrow variations in fayalite content. The distributions of Mn, Ca, Al, Na, K, P, Ni, and Co in the olivine fraction of these three groups exhibit different tendencies.
