Lidov (1977) revealed a new family of three-dimensional periodic orbits of the elliptical three body problem; it was considered that the spacecraft orbits about the main body in the vicinity of a smaller body. The present study considers this family of orbits in the Hill approximation. It is shown that on the one hand this family is intersected by a family of one-dimensional periodic orbits orthogonal to the principal plane, while on the other hand it is intersected by a family of two-dimensional periodic orbits that include the L1 and L2 libration points.
