A qualitative assessment is given of the various shapes of invariant surfaces which can be encountered in Hamiltonians with 3 deg of freedom in which two coupling perturbation terms are included. The inability to give accurate information on the values at which one or two integrals are lost, for different initial conditions of the phase coordinates, is noted. Particular cases are found where one integral seems to have disappeared. It is noted that at present there is only some indication that good invariant surfaces can be obtained at a rather wide range of conditions.
