In recent years, my colleagues and I have increasingly found less and less organized content at AAS meetings that relates directly to telescopes and instrumentation for small college observatory (telescope apertures between 16 and 50 inches) users. This session is an effort to bring the small telescope user community together to share ideas and techniques as applied to small telescopes and instrumentation. It is hoped that this session will lead to an informal working group of small telescope users. The session will consist of five invited talks covering a range of small observatory issues, in addition to a parallel poster session to which all small college observatory users are encouraged to submit papers. The invited talks will be followed by a brief panel discussion where it is hoped a free form exchange of ideas will take place.
