Consideration is given to the following questions: (1) how robust the theoretical determinations of sigma(t) and sigma(s) are; (2) whether the parameters used to model the mass distribution can be determined from the data; and (3) the best estimates of various parameters from the current data, and the future prospects for improved estimates. The quasar continuum source size is estimated from current data at less than about 0.0004(vt/5000 km/s)pc. Preliminary indications, principally from the lensed quasar 0957 + 561, suggest that cluster dark matter comprises objects smaller than about 0.1 solar mass. Although 0957 + 561 is a radio source, it is likely that the quasar radio source is larger than the optical continuum source; thus optical observations can provide a more sensitive test of microlensing variations.
