Doppler tracking of the Pioneer Venus satellite orbit provided accurate data on Venus' gravitational field in the form of harmonic coefficients of the gravitation potential expansion out to the sixth order, but because of the poor precision of the determination of the last three harmonics, only the second and third order coefficients have been published up to now. Three characteristics of the gravitational field are calculated from the anomaly gravitation potential expansion coefficients: the height of the Venus geoid and the gravitation force component at the meridian (the deviation of a plumb line in the plane of the meridian) as well as the attractive force component with respect to the planetary radius. The epicenters and amplitudes of these three characteristics are summarized.
