The paper presents results of a numerical simulation of vertical sounding ionograms of the ionosphere in the case of large-scale irregularities of plasma density in the presence of a constant magnetic field. Attention is given to a model of large-scale irregular structure, leading to the formation of F-scattering on vertical sounding ionograms at midlatitudes.
