The analysis deals with the resonant rotational motions about the center of mass of an axisymmetric satellite under the action of gravitational moments of the central body, with respect to whose center of inertia the satellite performs an elliptical Keplerian orbit. Delaunay-Hill-averaged equations of motion are derived in osculating Andoyer elements, and a complete system of first integrals is obtained. The inverted integrals are then used to obtain a solution to the intermediate problem in trigonometric form.
