Intermediate-band photometry of a complete sample of dwarfs in the solar neighborhood has been undertaken. The photometry of the main-sequence stars is employed to determine the space velocity and metal abundance distribution near the sun. In comparison with Hyades stars, 12% of the specimens are overabundant, with the largest percentage, 39%, having about one-half the solar abundance. Old disk dwarfs of type G, which may be given the spectroscopic classification of mild CH in some extreme cases, are given particular attention. The multiple system Herschel 2621, which may prove important for understanding advanced evolutionary processes, is also discussed.
