Multilayer X-ray emulsion chambers were used to study the interaction path for a total flux of hadrons with energies of 20-100 TeV and hadrons of the same energy in the composition of photon-hadron families with an integrated gamma energy greater than 100 TeV. The possibility of explaining the data by the existence of a fraction of families with anomalous absorption of the hadron component is examined.
