A modified approach to the investigation of correlations in the distribution of galaxies is described and applied to objects compiled in the Zwicky catalog. This approach permits a determination of q-point correlations in samples of arbitrary dimension. The results for the Zwicky catalog indicate an inhomogeneous distribution up to angular scales larger than 20 deg.
