An alignment and inspection procedure has been developed for the 5.5 x 8.2 m secondary mirrors of the RATAN-600 radiotelescope consisting of individual panels fabricated to a tolerance of 0.1 mm. The procedure, which involves determination of reference points located on the mirror frame, is shown to result in an rms error of 0.1 mm (without allowance for error in surface fabrication) and thus provides the required reflecting surface accuracy.
