In this study of Szekeres class II models we include isotropic pressure radiation and an electromagnetic field. We show that the solution is only possible if the spacetime gains symmetry. New classes of inhomogeneous cosmological models are obtained which become homogeneous and isotropic for large values of the temporal coordinate. We give an example to illustrate how the magnetic field alters the type of singularity of the inhomogeneous models and the anisotropy of the initial stage.
