It is shown that conditions for the excitation of terminator infrasound are realized in the Martian atmosphere. Direct measurements of daily temperature variations indicate the appearance of dynamic pressure-variation anomalies with a quasi-period of about 3 min and a characteristic 'wavelength' of about 40 km in the planetographic latitude range of 10-30 deg (as a function of season). During the morning hours of the Martian summer in the southern hemisphere, the excess pressure in the waves can amount to several fractions of a percent and can result in the modulation observed for certain cloud structures.
