A sample of red AGN selected from the Two Micron All Sky Survey is observed in the Spitzer Telescope Infrared Spectrograph (IRS). We present their mid infrared spectra and compare their infrared properties with those of a sample of Palomar-Green quasars. Connecting these with their optical and X-ray properties, we explore the intrinsic reasons for them being red.
