Results of IR observations from 2.3 up to 20 microns of the B supergiant star No. 12 in the Cygnus OB2 (VI Cyg) association are reported. The derived unreddened infrared energy distribution when compared with the Kurucz model atmosphere for the star shows no IR excess up to the 10 and 20 microns to a limit of approximately 300 mJy. The radio fluxes at 1.3 and 6 cm obtained by Wendker and Althenoff (1980) and Abbott et al. (1981) seem to be too strong with respect to the observed infrared spectral points. Infrared and radio variability may explain this discrepancy.
