The quadruple system, Zeta Aquarii, has been resolved in the K and L photometric bands by one-dimensional speckle interferometry. An infrared component is detected with a north-south separation from Zeta Aquarii B of 0.17 arcsec (3.9 AU), in agreement with the predicted orbit of a low-mass (0.22 solar mass) companion. This companion has an absolute K-magnitude of 4.4 + or - 0.1 and a K-L color temperature of 1440 + or - 200 K. An upper limit of 7.4 + or - 0.1 is placed on the apparent K-magnitude of the companion to Zeta Aquarii A. These results exhibit nearly the full spatial frequency response of the 3.8 m telescope.
