Solar Spectrographs: Infrared Spectra
Scientific paper
The infrared computer solar spectrophotometer has been designed in Pulkovo Observatory. It is based on a modern approach of measurements - a compensative one. The intensities of two beams of light investigated - are sized up alternatively 80 times per second by single PbS photoresistor and the ratio of the values is calculated by the computer. The method followed by secured a systematic errors reduction and elimination of temporal fluctuations (among them semi-transparent clouds) of atmospheric extinction.
