The InFOCμ S hard X-ray telescope was flown successfully on a high altitude balloon launched from Fort Sumner, NM on Sep. 16-17, 2004. We made a 3500 second observation of Hercules X-1 and a 10000 second observation of Cygnus X-1. Both sources were detected. Flux values and spectral analysis will be presented for these sources, along with the methodology used to derive the results. In its current configuration, the InFOCμ S telescope has a single grazing incidence mirror with an 8-m focal length and 2040 fully multilayered reflectors. It has an effective area of 49 cm2 at 30 keV and half-power diameter of 2.61 arc minutes. The nominal energy bandpass for mirror and detector is 20-40 keV. The focal plane is a pixellated CdZnTe detector and an active anti-coincidence shield is used to reduce the background. The pointing system has been completely redesigned since its 2001 maiden flight.
