In this paper we obtain a new solution for accretion disks influenced by self-gravity using the viscosity law proposed by Heyvaerts et al. (1996). We show how to solve analytically the problem taking into account self-gravity. Using this new viscosity law, we obtain a slightly different solution (compared with the standard one) for the transition between the non self-gravitating and the self-gravitating part of the disk but no solution in the self-gravitating part where additional viscosity mechanisms may play a role.
