The paper describes the use of the readings of the star photometer installed on Salyut-7 to evaluate and improve the determination of the rotational motion of the station in the gravity-gradient attitude-control mode according to measurements of solar and magnetic sensors. A description is given of the mathematical models and basic algorithms that serve as the basis of the system of computer programs for the simultaneous statistical processing of the data from all the sensors considered.
