Due to the high quality of the spectra obtained with the XMM-Newton and Chandra X-ray telescopes, it is now possible to identify many lines which were not seen before in that wavelength domain, and to deduce with a better accuracy the physical state of the media encountered near the central engine in AGNs. In order to interprate those spectra, we have updated the atomic database used in our transfer code Titan, which is specially designed for optically thick media. We will show new results obtained with that database and discuss the importance of Li-like ions in the temperature and ionization structures in the calculated models.
