Powerful imaging systems for planetary exploration combining low power, low mass, wide temperature operation and high scientific return have been developed by SPACE-X and selected for several exploration missions like MarsExpress, Rosetta, Smart-1... Such micro-imaging systems, based on new high micro-technology developments, are helpful tools for the search for biosignatures in rocks for Exobiology exploration on planets (Mars,...) or remote bodies (Comet nucleus, Europa). The first tests performed on analog of Mars material with such systems are promising.
