A terrestrial imaging spectrometer operating at 0.4-1.1 micron has studied the Aristarchus Plateau and Mounts Harbinger regions of the moon. The UV-VIS continuum, albedo, and 0.9-1.0 micron absorption band maps detail the complex pattern of crater ejecta of Aristarchus, whose extension of dark mantling deposits is also clearly revealed by these data.
