We have under taken a photometric search of the KEPLER field Cygnus to identify possible white dwarf candidates. Candidate blue stars having significant proper motion were observed spectroscopically to verify their degenerate nature and to provide estimates of individual effective temperature and surface gravity. We will report on the results of this program and discuss the importance of white dwarfs to the KEPLER Mission.
