We report a Chandra ACIS observation of the low core density globular cluster NGC 6144. The observation was taken in July 2007 with approximately 55 ks exposure time. We found 3 bright and several faint sources within the field of view. The luminosities of these sources are ranging from Lx=10^31 ergs/sec to 1.4 x 10^34 ergs/sec in the 0.5 to 7 keV band (assuming they are the members of NGC 6144). We also compare our results with optical data for searching the optical counterparts. From the X-ray spectral fitting and possible optical counterparts, we can determine whether these sources are within the globular cluster, or just background objects. Through studying the nature and the population of these X-ray sources, we can have a better understanding on cluster dynamics and formation in a low core density globular cluster.
