The identification of 32 atomic solar lines, obtained from
high-resolution infrared spectra (at wavelengths of 3.3 to 8.0 microns)
recorded during stratospheric balloon flights, is presented.
Photospheric atomic lines have been identified with certainty out to 8
microns
