Photoelectric Conversion: Solar Cells And Arrays, Performance Characteristics Of Energy Conversion Systems, Figure Of Merit

The main research results, carried out by Scientifical and technical centre of space power and engines at Kharkov Aviation Institute, the purpose of which was to study dynamic characteristics of space vehicles Solar photovoltaic power systems (SPVPS) are presented in this paper. The complexity of SPVPS units mathematical models identification is caused by SPVPS heterogenity and multilevelty as a complex system, which consists of many units and subsystems. Moreover SPVPS belongs to the class of objects with essential nonlinearity and nonstationarity of its characteristics. The offered identification method and numerical experiment results, carried out for verification of its accuracy and for method stability estimation, are also included in this paper. Besides some results of physical experiment, made for research of dynamic processes during Solar Battery (SB) work with a pulsing power regulator and results of additional investigations of photoconverters group dynamic characteristics, which are used for dynamic model examination, received as a result of an offered method application are discussed.
