The Aikawa and Simon (1983) TGRID code is used to integrate eight fundamental mode RR Lyrae models with dynamic zoning in the hydrogen ionization region. When the light curves from these models are Fourier-decomposed, it is noted that the Fourier phases phi(21) and phi(31) agree with those from earlier calculations, yet disagree with values obtained from the observed light curves of RRab pulsators; the discrepancy between calculations and observations may involve some basic physical or numerical aspect of the calculations. Evidence is also presented which implies that the theory-observation disagreement may be due to the use of the diffusion approximation and the neglect of atmospheric shocks.
