Hydrodynamics, Ism: Jets And Outflows

Scientific paper

Numerical experiments of a precessing adiabatic jet similar to SS 433
are presented which display hydrodynamic collimation on a large scale as
suggested by an earlier work (Eichler 1983). The differences between
this work and that of Kochanek & Hawley (1990), who argued against
hydrodynamic collimation, are explained.
