Scientific paper
The authors present results of pointed ROSAT PSPC observations of 15 hybrid stars/candidates, which have been analyzed in a homogeneous way. A total of 12 stars have been detected in X-rays with apparent fluxes as low as 5×10-15erg cm-2s-1. The authors conclude that essentially all hybrid stars are X-ray sources if exposed sufficiently deeply. They have re-analyzed the Ca II wind dividing line and find a somewhat different shape and location.
