We study the ~1-10 Hz quasi-periodic oscillations (QPOs) from black hole candidate X-ray sources (BHCs), in particular, GRS 1915+105. This type of QPO exists only when the source is on the hard, horizontal branch on the color intensity diagram, and their frequency increase with the intensity of the source. Similar behavior at 20-60 Hz has been seen for the horizontal branch oscillations (HBOs) from bright neutron star X-ray sources. We therefore suggest that these QPOs may have a similar origin. Since a magnetosphere and stellar surface are absent in BHCs, it is suggested that for these QPOs, oscillations in an accretion disk may be more relevant to the phenomena.
