Conformal diagrams are used to investigate both the nature of particle horizons in Robertson-Walker inflationary universes and the causal limits imposed by physical considerations in these universes. The noncompact and compact cases are considered, and it is found that the horizon problem is solved by inflation in almost Roberston-Walker universes. Emphasis is placed on the causal limitations arising during the reheating phase at the end of inflation.
