Scientific paper

A theoretical and experimental demonstration of a substantial telescopic
effect obtained with volume phase-hologram gratings is reported. An
efficient hologram filter telescope is proposed on the basis of this
effect. This telescope has been used to tune and contract the output
line of a rhodamine 6G laser pumped by a standard LTI-PCh laser.
