Field equations are obtained with the aid of higher dimensional Bianchi
type-I cosmological model in scale covariant theory of gravitation in
the context of cosmic strings. We present here isotropic and anisotropic
solutions of the field equations and some physical implications of these
solutions are briefly discussed.
