Using a narrow band acousto-optic spectrograph, the authors have made first high-velocity resolution (0.07 km s-1) radio observations of southern dark clouds. Profiles of J = 1-0 lines (115.271 GHz) from 18 southern dark clouds have been obtained. The peak antenna temperature, peak radial velocity, and half-width of the CO lines are given. The peak radial velocities of the CO line coincide roughly with that of the formaldehyde line from the same cloud.
